The average person isnt really a good one, and the world is mostly dogshit.  But that isnt how it has to be. Humans are shaped by their environment. If we try to make the world better for everyone, the ammount of people that are shit is going to decrease. As individuals, our impact is microscopic, but so is our expirience of the world. The best we can do is try to be good people, hoping that the people now and in the future will do the same. Thats all humanity has really been doing. If anything, you understanding that other people are dogshit is proof that there is potential for growth, so if you ever have the opportunity, try to steer an individual towards being a better person, maybe they will do the same for another person, and you will have already made a positive impact on multiple lives.
