    Okay guys, I need advice and I don’t want to ask anyone I know so I’m asking here

    I want to ask out this girl I’ve known for a while, I love being around them and I think if I asked it may go well.

    But I don’t know if she would be okay with it, she recently got out of a relationship (like a few months ago) and her boyfriend is being a dick about it.

    I don’t want to hurt her by dragging her through another relationship if she’s not ready, but I really think she’s my first true love.
    what do you guys think? And advice?

      My recommendation, just try to be her friend first.  If you're close with her, try to help her if her boyfriend is being a dick like you say he is.  Lastly, when you ask her out, try to make it a casual thing, and be clear that she's allowed to say no and that things between you won't change if she does decline.
