    Fun fact: did you know that Butterfree was supposed to be the original Venomoth? They swapped the designs because of their final concept art. But if you compare Venonat's face with Butterfree's, the resemblance is uncanny. It's been proven and confirmed.

    Good job BenRedskull for finding that out.

    Fact: when satoshi tagiri first Pokémon drawing is rydorn and the first Pokémon mascot before pikachu is talking clefary but it then change due to the colour and Pokemon type being to girly and boring. That why pikachu is yellow because it gender neutral and is electric type because it cool to have. Poor talking clefary doesn't make it to tv series.

      We also can't forget why Porygon rarely gets any screen time. It was because the one episode it was in hospitalized a lot of kids in Japan due to epileptic seizures from the various flashing lights in the episode. Because of that, the episode was pulled and was never released outside of Japan.
